Ottawa airport back to normal after Air Canada computer glitch

OTTAWA — Air Canada's computer system at the Ottawa International Airport went down for just under an hour Tuesday morning, causing long lineups and a few delays, but no cancellations, an airport official said.

The system crashed at about 6:50 a.m. and came back up at 7:35 a.m., said Krista Kealey, vice-president of communications for the airport authority.

As of 9 a.m., the security line-up was all clear, Kealey said.
